Kate brings over a decade of experience in Data management within the Insurance Industry, spanning both the Carrier and Broker facets. Most recently, Kate has worked as Head of Data at Miller, supporting Millers strategic Data Pillar through leading the data transformation programme.

Her primary focus has been on transitioning towards the productisation of data, and facilitating Miller's clients, markets, and overall business operations to extract significant value from their data. A key aspect of this vision has been to ensure the correct foundations are in place through implementing a new Data Platform and insights, developing a Data Governance Framework and creating new data capabilities including document extraction and ingestion.

Before her tenure at Miller, Kate worked across a number of data roles at Beazley, starting as a Data Analyst, and subsequently transitioning to the role of Data Governance Manager and on to lead the Data Platform.

Over his 30-year career, Ted also worked for Zurich and Farmers Insurance.

Ted is experienced at leading large-scale information technology practices with emphasis on business intelligence development and architecture practices for global analytic ecosystems. He’s led multiple strategic projects involving data architecture, data engineering, data visualization, data science, data governance, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. He excels at building and managing high-performance international teams, fostering collaborative partnerships, and empowering stakeholders across various functions. He is focused on delivering data-driven decision making and innovation for companies and clients, supporting end-to-end transformational programs.

Ted holds an MBA and master’s in information technology from Johns Hopkins University and a bachelor’s in Marketing from Towson University.
